iJazzMusic.com is the only non-profit Jazz publisher (NGO) in the USA and the European Union.
This means that charts, books, or any product purchased from iJazzMusic.com, a high percentage (50%) of the incoming funds go directly to the composer/arranger/writer, and the remainder of the funds go to www.JazzEducationAbroad.org (JEA). JEA is another non-profit organization that presents week-long and/or online Jazz Workshops in Asia, Central America, South America, the Middle East, and the EU.
In addition, we
1. Provide music support for blind student schools in both Thailand and Nepal
2. Underwrite projects involving refugees in Lebanon, and
3. Donate musical instruments to many countries including more than 500 musical instruments to Lebanon, Iraq, Afghanistan, Cyprus, Syria, Mozambique, Zanzibar, and other countries.
In other words, every penny you spend on iJazzMusic.com helps composers write more music and the less privileged children around the world!
If you are interested in knowing more about Jazz Education Abroad and its work throughout the world, or if you wish to donate used musical instruments or accessories (mouthpieces, reeds, straps, etc.), or if you want to make a monetary donation through PayPal, etc.(it could be a small monthly amount), please contact us at info@JazzEducationAbroad.org and we’ll get back to you right away.
