Celebrating Bird: A Tribute to Charlie Parker is a joint collaboration between bassist Fumi Tomita and saxophonist David Detweiler. The aim is to explore the realm of Parker’s music and influences through improvisation and original compositions that are contrafacts of his own compositions.
