“Three of a Kind” interprets many hours of oral history and ethnographic interviews with Wendell Brunious, Don Vappie, and John Boutté taken between 2022 and 2023. Themes explored include early New Orleans jazz history, aspects of Creole identity in jazz, and the contemporary work of New Orleans jazz musicians.
