First Take is a 6-member vocal jazz ensemble from the School For Music Vocations in Creston, Iowa – directed by Dr. Jeremy Fox, Tobi Crawford and Dr. Tyler Thomas, the co-directors of this unique vocational program. Four of the past six years, the ensemble has earned recognition from Downbeat Magazine.
